The Montana Coaches Association is an organization that operates independently of the MHSTCA. Both organizations recognize the benefits of a cooperative relationship between the two.
The Montana Coaches Association mission statement:
• To raise the quality and competence of coaching and administration to the highest level possible through leadership development, educational programs, training sessions, and informative publications.
• To promote and publicize interscholastic sports and its athletes through a comprehensive state awards program.
• To foster athletic programs for boys and girls which provide social, educational, and competitive opportunities for student/athletes in cooperation with the Montana High School Association.
• To recognize those professional men and women who have devoted their energies over many years to bring excellence to sports programs in Montana schools.

This year, 2013, is the 46th Annual MCA Multi-Sports Clinic. Clinic attendees come from all across Montana, as well as neighboring states, and we always welcome our Canadian friends.

The Director of Tennis at the San Jose Swim and Racquet Club, Ken was named PTR 2009 Inter- national Pro of the year, his third such honor. He is a PTR and US PTA Master Professional, USA High Performance Coach, a National Trainer for Recreational Coaches and a national speaker for Cardio Tennis. Ken is also associate editor for TennisOne.com, on the National Advisory Staff for Tenisdrill.com, a PTR National Tester and a contribut- ing writer for Pro Tennis Magazine.
In addition to the PTR Pro of the Year awards, Ken is a 3X USPTA Career Development Award Winner, 2X USPTA Southwest Pro of the Year and 2X USPTA NorCal Pro of the Year.
Ken has produced 7outstanding DVD’s for tennis instruction and is one of most popular speakers we have ever had at the MCA Clinic.
We stongly urge you to join the Montana Coaches Association. Not only does this Association offer many benifits to all coaches, they support and annually award Coach of the Year recognition to coaches in all high school sports in Montana. If you are not a member of the MCA, you are not eligible to receive Coach of the Year recognition.
